Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what data iCalFeed collects, how we use it, and what we don't do. We believe in being straightforward, so we'll keep this readable. iCalFeed is operated by EBITDA LLC ("we," "us," or "our").
What We Collect
When you create an iCalFeed account, we collect:
- Email address — used for account login and to contact you about your account if needed.
- Password — stored securely as a hash by Firebase Authentication. We never see or store your actual password.
- Organization name — the name you choose for your organization when signing up.
- Calendar page URL (slug) — the URL path you choose for your organization's calendar page.
- Timestamps — when your account was created, when you last logged in, and when content was created or updated.
You also provide calendar names, event titles, descriptions, dates, times, locations, and optional virtual meeting links as part of using the service. This is the content you create and manage.
What We Do NOT Collect
We want to be explicit about what we don't collect:
- No real names — we don't ask for your first or last name.
- No phone numbers — we don't ask for or store phone numbers.
- No payment information — we do not currently collect credit card numbers, bank accounts, or billing addresses.
- No cookies — iCalFeed does not set any cookies on your browser. None. Zero.
- No analytics or tracking — we don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking tool. We don't track which pages you visit, how long you stay, or where you came from.
- No subscriber data — see the section below.
Calendar Subscribers — Zero Data Stored
This is important and worth spelling out: when someone subscribes to one of your calendars, we store absolutely nothing about them.
The iCal protocol works like this: the subscriber's calendar app (Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook) periodically fetches your calendar feed from our server. It's a simple, anonymous HTTP request. We don't know who made it. We don't store their email, name, device type, IP address, or any other identifying information.
We have no list of subscribers. We cannot tell you who subscribed to your calendar. We can't contact them even if we wanted to. This is by design — subscriber privacy is built into the protocol itself.
How We Use Your Data
We use the data we collect to:
- Authenticate your account (email + password for login).
- Operate the service (store and serve your calendars and events).
- Contact you about your account if needed (e.g., security issues, service changes).
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not send promotional emails.
Third-Party Services
iCalFeed is built on Google Firebase, which means your data is processed and stored by Google Cloud. Specifically:
- Firebase Authentication (Google) handles your email and password securely.
- Cloud Firestore (Google Cloud) stores your organization, calendar, and event data.
- Firebase Hosting (Google) serves the website.
- Cloud Functions (Google Cloud) runs our server-side code, including generating iCal feeds.
Google's infrastructure includes standard server logging (request timestamps, URLs, response codes). This is standard for any web service and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
We do not use any other third-party services that process your data.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure, which provides industry-standard security including encryption at rest and in transit. Your password is hashed by Firebase Authentication — we never store or have access to your plain-text password.
While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no system is 100% secure. If we become aware of a security breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you promptly.
Data Retention & Deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you want to delete your account and all associated data, email us at [email protected] and we will delete your account, organization, calendars, and events from our systems.
Standard server logs maintained by Google Cloud may retain request metadata for a limited period as part of normal infrastructure operations.
Children's Privacy
iCalFeed is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete the account.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and notify you by email or by posting a notice on the service. Your continued use of iCalFeed after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
