A Shared Calendar for Your Swim Team
Meet schedule, practice groups, warm-up times, volunteer shifts — synced to every family's phone. No app to download. No email chain to manage.
Create Your Team Calendar — FreeSound familiar?
It's Saturday at 6:15 AM. A parent texts you: "What time is warm-up for the meet today?" Then another. Then four more. The warm-up time was in the email you sent Tuesday, but nobody reads those emails. You're still in your pajamas answering texts while trying to pack the timing equipment.
Your team practices at two different pools — the indoor pool on weekdays and the outdoor pool on weekends in summer. Every single week, at least one family shows up at the wrong pool. You've explained it five times. It's in the handbook. They still get it wrong.
The host team moves the dual meet start time from 9:00 to 8:30. You forward the email to your team at 7 PM Thursday. By Saturday morning, a third of your families never saw the update. Six kids miss warm-ups. Two miss their first event entirely.

Here's what swim teams and aquatic clubs typically put on their shared calendar:
What this looks like in practice
Coach Angela enters the full summer season into iCalFeed the week before practices start. Dual meets on Saturdays, practices Monday through Friday at Lakewood Pool, the invitational at Clearwater Aquatic Center in July. She includes warm-up times in the event description — "Warm-ups 7:30 AM, Meet starts 8:30 AM." She sends the subscribe link to 85 families. Total setup: 25 minutes.
Kevin is a swim dad with a daughter in the 11-12 age group. He checks his phone Tuesday night to plan the week. Thursday practice at 4:30, Saturday dual meet at Riverside — warm-ups at 7:30, first event at 8:30. It's right there in his calendar next to his Thursday work meeting and his son's piano lesson. No app to check. No email to hunt for.
On Wednesday, the host team for Saturday's meet calls — lightning damaged the timing system, so the meet moves to Greenfield Pool. Coach Angela updates the event location in iCalFeed. By Thursday morning, every family's phone shows the new pool address. No mass email. No frantic texts at 6 AM Saturday. Everyone drives to the right place.
How iCalFeed compares
vs. Team emails
Parents skim the first line and archive it. Meet details get lost in a 500-word newsletter nobody finishes reading.
Meet times and locations land right in their calendar — short, clear, impossible to miss.
vs. Team apps (TeamUnify, SwimTopia)
Parents have to log in, navigate to the schedule tab, and remember to check before every meet. Most don't.
Events show up automatically in the calendar they already look at every day. Zero effort after subscribing.
vs. Printed meet schedule
Taped to the fridge in May. Outdated by June. Doesn't include the two meets that got added mid-season.
Always current. New meets and changes sync to every phone automatically.
vs. Team website calendar
Families check it once during registration and never go back. You update it faithfully. Nobody sees it.
Events push to their phone. They don't have to visit anything or remember any URL.
