A Shared Calendar for Your Softball League
Game schedule, field assignments, playoff brackets, league cookouts — synced to every player's phone. No app to download. No group text to manage.
Create Your League Calendar — FreeSound familiar?
It's Thursday night at 7:50 PM. Your team's game is at 8:00 on Diamond 3 — not Diamond 1 like last week. Two players are at Diamond 1 warming up and can't figure out why the other team is wearing the wrong jerseys. The field assignments were in the league email on Monday. Nobody reads league emails from their work inbox during the week.
Your team has nine games this season. Three have already been rescheduled due to rain. The original schedule is useless. You text the updated info to the team, but every week someone asks: "Are we playing this week? I lost track." You're the captain, not a secretary. You're tired of being a human calendar.
Playoffs are next week. Your game is Wednesday at 9:00 PM — not the usual Thursday. You tell the team after last week's game. Half your roster was already at the bar. By Wednesday at 6 PM, three players text: "Wait, that's tonight?" You scramble for subs. One of them brings his glove from 2004.

Here's what adult softball leagues and teams typically put on their shared calendar:
What this looks like in practice
Team captain Mike enters the 12-week summer schedule into iCalFeed on a Sunday night during a commercial break. Thursday games at Riverside Complex — some weeks on Diamond 1, some on Diamond 3. He adds each game with the time, field number, and opponent. Then he texts the subscribe link to his 14-player roster. Setup: 15 minutes while watching the game.
Amanda plays second base on the Javelinas. She checks her phone Thursday morning at work. Tonight: Javelinas vs. Hammerheads, 8:00 PM, Diamond 3 at Riverside. She sees it right there in her calendar next to her 4:00 meeting and her kid's piano recital at 5:30. She knows she needs to leave piano by 7:00 to make the game. No texting Mike. No hunting for the schedule email.
It rained Wednesday night. The league pushes Thursday's games to Saturday. Mike updates the event — new date, same field, same time. He adds a note: "Makeup game — Saturday at 6:00 PM. Field will be wet, wear turfs not cleats." Every player's phone shows Saturday instead of Thursday. No mass text. No "Wait, are we still playing?" questions.
How iCalFeed compares
vs. Team group text
Game details buried under trash talk, lineup debates, and 15 "I'm in" replies. Finding the actual game time requires scrolling past 40 messages.
Game time and field number sit in the calendar event. One tap. No scrolling.
vs. League email with schedule PDF
The PDF is from April. Six games have been rained out and rescheduled since then. The PDF might as well be a historical document.
The calendar is always current. Rainout makeups appear on every phone the moment the captain adds them.
vs. League website
Hasn't been updated since the webmaster moved to Arizona. The schedule still shows last season's playoff bracket.
You control the calendar. Updates reach every subscriber automatically.
vs. Captain telling everyone at the bar after the game
The three players who went home early didn't hear. The two who stayed too late won't remember.
The schedule is on their phone, sober and reliable, anytime they need to check.
